I want to start playing around with eye shadow but I want a inexpensive drugstore brand since I'm only going to past around see if I like it. I want to find your basic neutral colors in matte. Any suggestions?? Please help.

BH cosmetics are great beginner pallete check them out online. Most drugstores are shimmer cause matte was really meant for professionals who does photoshoot since shimmers reflected too much light. Most "matte" I found at walgreens wasn't pigmented enough even when I used primer. I'll keep an eye out though!

Sonia Kadshuk (sp?) has a matte neutral palette available at Target. It's larger than the typical drugstore palette. I think it has somewhere between 10-20 shades from beige-brown-gray-black.

If your wanting matte shadows && basic ones. Get the Naked Basic Palette. It's only $27 at Sephora. Colors are dreamy & creamy. Goes on smoothe & great for everyday use.

28 Neutral Palette from Coastal Scents or BH Cosmetics. When I first started out, I got mine off of Ebay. It's the same thing except it's cheaper.

Coastal Scents, BH, and NYX have some. NYX has single matte shadows that go for about $5 a piece. :)
