Um..never heard of that. Taking prenatal vitamins have worked for some people. I highly recommend biotin{start at a low dosage then go higher to make sure you don't have unwanted side effects} vitamin e, and silica. use vegan hair products without silicone and wash your hair less.

Use less heat on your hair as possible! So try to find different ways of styling your hair. I towel dry mine after washing it then put it in a plait or rollers and leave it to dry fully. I also agree on taking vitamins! And a deep condition mask at least once a week helped my hair get in better condition, it's now just past my hips.

Use less heat on your hair to prevent split ends. I usually get my hair trimmed to get away the split ends so it doesn't look so messy :) also try a hair growth shampoo :) good luck!
