VitaminE. It may take some time but that's how your skin heals.

I use a little bit of Neosporin every once in a while on my face and lips, and helps heal things lickity-split!!

Try applying some neosporin and a band aid. Treat it like you would a normal scab :)

Do not use neosporin on acne prone skin!! The skin on your face naturally heals quickly, continue with a good skin care regiment and let it heal on its own.

Exfoliating an area that has healing scabs will only result in scarring. Applying a band-aid...such a myth. Best bet...vitamin e to speed up healing and avoid scarring. Neosporin will ease the itch of the skin healing but offers no true benefits. What I do when I land a popped zit that has scabbed over is to just leave it alone. I don't apply any additional products other than maybe a dab of olive oil to ease the itch factor.

If you only use it directly on the scab. I don't think it will hurt anything. :)

The band-aid is mainly there to keep the neosporin from smearing off but if you plan to not touch your face then you don't even need one :)

I'm an esthetician, you do not want to put neosporin on your face. Along with the risk of causing more breakouts, it is also connected to many cases of contact dermatitis. Keep up on vitamins and let it heal naturally. If you educate on how to properly pop 'pimples', you will not get scabs :)

Don't put a band aid on your face!! I put peroxide on a cotton swab and put it all over my face then I put acne cream on my blemishes and you CAN USE the neosporin directly on the place and rub it in. It will be cleared up in at the most four days.

I have oily/acne prone skin too. You can only put neo. directly on the place not everywhere and rub it in or it won't work right. and the peroxide helps with the healing, gets the oil, and drying it out but not too much.

We have so many different opinions. Neosporin has always worked for me. My brother has a lot of acne and he usually puts toothpaste directly on the blemish because it drys it out a little bit. Also try some witch hazel. It works wonders on healing the zit super fast. It's really cheap too. My brother started using it a year or so ago and he barely has acne anymore because he was using that. You should give it a try! :)

I exfoliate my face and that usually helps. Good luck :)

I use AVON products. I'm only 13, but my face started breaking out when I was 9. My mom sells AVON, and they have a clear cream, and it gets rid of pimples over night! I love it so much, and I feel much confident now that I have almost no pimples/ zits.

I think it would work with scabs from zits to, I mean it worked on mine! Best of luck to you, and just keep your head up, and stay proud.

I use witch hazel, you want it to dry up I definitely wouldn't put neosporin or a band aid on it.

Personally I'd leave it alone. It could be irritated and you don't want to cause more inflammation, especially if you pull the scab off or use a product that helps it. Try to stay safe and not do anything special with it x

Neosporin works for me...I don't slather my face in it. I just put it where I need it and it helps keep bacteria away and let the breakout begin to heal. You could use the cream instead of the ointment. It probably wouldn't be as oily. I haven't got a breakout from Neosporin though. I would skip the bandaid though. If there's latex in the bandaid it could irritate the skin. I actually have to use the fabric bandaids because the plasticy ones have latex in them and that combined with the adhesive make my skin itch and when I take them off they take bits of skin with them. So I'd definitely skip the bandaid no matter what. I also sometimes will put some Benadryl cream on and it takes down any inflammation and pain. In fact a combination of Neosporin and Benadryl worked wonders to clear up a big zit I had. Today it was completely dried up. But everyone's skin is different and things that work for some don't work for all.
