Is it possible to grow out gel nails? I've had gel nails for the last 4 months and I know they at no good for you nails. I was wondering if I file them down would I be able to keep them until my natural nails grow or would it look too tacky? Or would the just end up coming/peeling off?

You can grow out gel nail polish. Depending on the color you have, if it's dark it will look tacky or if it's glitter/something light you can probably get away with it. I have oily nails so normally in 3-5 days my gel starts to chip and peel (no matter what). But if I were you, I soak them and gently push off the gel and give them time to recover.
