Well, I have the same skin type and use the Rimmel Stay Matte. I've used it so much that the label rubbed off and I still haven't hit pan. It definitely does more than the 3.99 price tag suggests.

I have oily skin and I've tried the Maybelline and it didn't help at all.. I really love Rimmel Stay Matte it's amazing.
