It seams to be a little hastely done, I would also suggest balancing out the blue a little more evenly among the pink nails, or not mixing it. But I do think the idea of bright pink and blue can be a very cute combination.

I think you need some more practice, my nails are very short but I can still manage to make a manicure to look fresh. You need to take the proper steps before you even paint them. File, buff, push your cuticles back, etc. It will do wonders for your manicure! Take your time too :)
