How do you take off gel nail polish??

You are supposed to put nail polish remover on a cotton ball and put it on your nail then wrap it in tin foil to secure the cotton ball on your nail. You let it sit for 10 minutes.

Ordinary nail polish remover won't take off a gel polish, you need to file it until there's no shine to break through the top coat, then soak in acetone for maybe 15 mins and use a cuticle pusher or woodstick to lift up the edges slightly, that'll help the acetone seep in :)

The nail polish remover one is for acrylic nails not gel, for gel you need to file it down, a good indiction for me is until my colour in my nails are gone my nails are normally a bright colour don't file any lower because you could cause damage to your real nails, the follow the steps above (wrap your nail in tin foil after soaking the cotton ball) but using acetone.
