I have been using MAC Studio Fix foundation for a while but I still feel like it gives a orange kinda look. I heard from someone that NARS' foundation is much better...For the price of $44 it better be :)... Any thoughts??

I thought the same thing! I switch to make up forever hd foundation. I like it so far. As far as nars I'm not sure I've mainly used their lip and blush products.

I love nars sheer glow. Got percent match for my skin tone. I have tried nearly all of the brands but nars and armani has the best foundations ever x

Before you buy a foundation sample it at a store swatch it on your hand and walk outside, if it gets oxidised easily you'll see yourself turn darker/orange ;)

I prefer the finish and blandability of mac foundation to nars but the colors are better from nars. Mac does oxidize pretty badly but nars really doesn't.

Thanks Ladies! :) I think I may try a NARS but get a few samples from sephora before I pay that kind of money.

I think comparing the two is apples and oranges, really. I have never, ever been able to find a good color match in MAC foundations: too dark (even the NW10) and orange as hell. NARS has better color options as well as a more elegant, sleek finish. It just plain looks more like soft, glowing, natural skin on me. The only downside is that if you have very blemished or severely discolored skin then the NARS line isn't going to give you thick enough coverage. If you have very distressed skin that requires heavy coverage and can find your match, MAC may be better. But NARS Sheer Glow and Matte Glow foundations in Siberia have been my HG's for many years now.

Suffice to say, I always felt like MAC foundations were a thick, cakey mask on my skin and always looked like a hot mess up close. When I'm wearing Sheer Glow even up close my face looks smooth, luminous, and natural.

Thanks Jen... I don't really NEED makeup I just love it! 😊...I don't have blemishes on my face and you are right about looking a mess up close sometimes especially since I tend to have oily skin most of the time... It's definitely time for me to switch foundations
