Find a good eye primer, with eye primer all things are possible. Lol. Trust me, it makes all the difference. And get some good eye wands or brushes. Eye primer is what really helps you get that flawless graduated blending look.

Also good quality brushes make all the difference, invest in some high end ones. they may be pricey but its worth it and they'll last.

I'm in the same boat Manda G. && how I'm learning is I bought some good eye primer && I've been buying cheap but good quality eyeshadows to work my way up, and I just watch tutorials and that's how I've been learning, but honestly different eyeshadow brushes make all the difference! So basically good primer, eyeshadow, brush, && YouTube and you'll get it (: hope this helps<33.

Also a decent brush set is a must don't use those little applicators they are terrible and don't allow you to blend properly. eyeshadow and makeup in general should be fun expriment with different looks.

It's easiest to start with natural colors and then work your way to playing with the more colorful ones like blues and purples. However, makeup is supposed to make your features stand out even more, but naturally. So basically, to make you look naturally gorgeous. I pretty much always use neutral eyeshadows and I think they are the ones that compliment you the most.

I'm 41 and my whole life I have purchased cheap eyeshadow. Revlon, Loreal you know drug store brands. Last August for my birthday I purchased the Urban Decay Naked pallet. (came with free primer). it changed my life!! its amazing that primer and quality shadows made such a difference. They stay on forever...blend easy...so many looks I can do. It is so much fun. Those two primer and at least one or two high end shadows. mac, nars, urban decay all good! ;)
