Start w a great volume product. Oribe makes Volumista&Maxinista which are both great. Or bed head makes a less expensive option called Queen for a Day

I use Redkens Thicking Cream and volumizing shampoo. Then I blow dry my hair upside down like 75% of the way and style the rest.

Try batiste dry shampoo. So great for adding texture and volume.

A good and cheap trick to give volume to the hair is dry it upside down and comb with fingers from root zigzag, a tad of hairspray at the roots, and voila! more instant volume.

You don't have to buy any of that expensive jazz, just get a fine tooth comb, and tease your roots spraying as you go along.

Don't tease your hair every day because its damaging. What I've been doing lately (because my hair gets really flat also) is I've been sleeping with my hair in a simple bun at the very top of my head. I've been having a lot of people making comments about how my hair suddenly has all this volume! No heat, no chemicals. Just a hair tie and a few bobby pins. Sometimes I'll also wrap a bandana around too because of my shorter hairs wanting to fall out. Believe it or not its actually really comfortable to sleep in because the bun is so high I'm not laying on it at all.

There's a product that I've seen only at Rite aid and CVS and its a powder that you put in your roots and shake it into your hair and BOOM volume. don't have it on me, would you like a pic? I love it and it really does work(:

Is your scalp healthy? Meaning, if its very tight and hard, then your hair tend to be flat. Massage your scalp well during shampooing, then I use scalp spray to massage after towel dry. Apply a few amount of algan oil at the ends. I also have fine hair and tend to gets flat, try John Master Organic shampoo and conditioner. They are amazing, on my hair.
