About to purchase the sigma extravaganza set, is it worth the 500$??

No lol... I would spend 100 on the regular set and add a few kabukis and stuff to your order :)

Depends. Are you getting because you know you need all these brushes or (the reason I want it) because they're so many and you just want to add them to your already large collection and at the end of the day there will be quite a few that you don't ever really use?

I will need them, I'm in school to become a make up artist, but I have only tried a few of the sigma brushes, so I'm not sure if they are worth the 500$ quality wise

Oh in that case if you think you can afford it, go for it. Sigma is great for eyes but I've never been a big fan of their large face brushes but that's because I'm in love with my MAC brushes for my face. But they're great. I'd get it if I had the money :)
