I personally think if you want a lighter coverage to use your fingers, but if you want a more full coverage then use a foundation brush. I like using my fingers better because it gives a more natural look.

Multipurpose flat top brush by Sonia Kashuk! Such a lifesaver. I use my fingers to apply BB cream still since its basically a moisturizer and meant for a lighter wear.

I've tried everything but my favourite by far is my Real Techniques stippling brush.

I can't use my fingers because I have Oily skin and even if my hands are clean I feel like I get oily faster that way. Real Techniques buffing and ELF flat top powder are good.

I used to use the Sigma F80 brush, but I recently got a beauty blender and I LOVE it. It makes your skin look flawless.

The best flawless application for me is using a beauty blender for and creams or liquid foundations I get complimented all the time.
