I stopped by Sephora today to pick up my free birthday gift. I received a little kit with mascara by Benefit and Watt's Up highlighter. Anyone own/tried these? Please share what you think! Thanks in advance!!

It's great, last time I work no one knew I was wearing mascara. I'd recommend for everyday use but if your really trying to make your lashes bold, lengthy and voluminous it would only accomplish that to a small degree, hence 'they're real'

Thanks ladies! I can't wait to try it. I like how the brush has the rubber bristles, I tend to like those kinds of mascaras. And Jennifer, I love the natural look so that's great. To all: does it get clumpy if you add a couple layers for volume?

I love watts up highlighter. I haven't tried the mascara but love the watts up especially if you are going for sunny beach or glam look. Little bit on cheekbones nose forehead chin w mascara, lipgloss and you are good to go (natural sunny look) then add some eyeshadows and eyeliner for more of glam night look.

Yes! Love it. It's a little hard to take off, but the results from it are great. I use it for my nights out on the weekend.

It makes "clumpy" lashes, which I do not like...you might like it...I prefer defined lashes...not clumpy.

It's the best mascara I have used. If you start right at the bottom of your lashes and give the brush a little 'wiggle' working upwards you get amazing volume and length. Happy birthday by the way :-)

I don't like it. It gave me raccoon eyes after a couple hours and it was clumpy. It was hard to get off too. Not a fan, I'm sticking to my drugstore mascaras.

I do have that mascara. I find that a lot of product comes out of the want and sometimes it can make your lashes clump together because of so much mascara or it smears under your lash line. Pros: very dark black and does give nice length. Cons: can smear often and takes a while to dry. IMO? Maybelline's Stiletto Mascara is the best. I hardly ever stick to one product ever. I'm too much of a make up junkie to be loyal to any one thing. But... That mascara is magic. :) less $$ than Benefit too.

I really don't understand why EVERYONE raves about it. It's definitely not worth the hype. The first time I tried it, oh my god. It tugged at my lashes, making my tightline hurt so badly. The wand is great, just.. It clumps your lashes and it hurts as I said before. It's great at separating your lashes, just not curling.. It's a big no no for me.

I was not impressed by it. I really love Loreal shocking extensions mascara. Now that works and it way cheaper.

I did not like it, at all. It was first mascara I have actually binned, wasting over 17 quid. Terrible brush, terrible formula, hard to work with. And those clumps! No volume, no full lashes. Benefit did not shine with it at all and reading all raving reviews everywhere I was wondering if it was about the same mascara I got. Pity, I could not return it. Maybelline Rocket gives much, much better results for the fraction of a price.

I got it as my birthday gift at sephora also and I actually really liked it. I have long full lashes though so I'm not sure if that makes any difference but I've been using covergirl lash blast for a long time now and this is soo much better.

This is the first mascara I ever threw in the garbage the same week I bought it. I gave it the college effort and wore it for 4 days and only hated it more and more. Made my lashes brittle and gave me spidery, clumpy lashes. Just did not work for me.
