I have to apply fake eyelashes for my dance performances... But I just got contacts and am scared of gluing my eye shut... How can I apply them (properly) without doing that??

Wait 30 seconds before applying. I didn't wait and almost glued my eye shut, I also had to wash off my whole eye look, so lesson learned let the glue get tacky before putting it on you eye.
