Take four strands. Left over middle two. Right over middle two. And so on. Use small strands, not thick, or it will just end up looking like a normal braid.

Well I split my hair in half and then take half of one and put it over the rest and then take half from the other side and put it over and so on.. they will be kinda thick at first but I think that it's a good thing because it builds a sort of foundation or better hold.

I think it looks like a fishtail! Just a small one. It took me lots of practice to get the fishtail down. I think it's easier to start with wet hair.
