I use a maroon. It has a brown shimmer in it though. But who is Miranda?

Wow, I wish I was as dedicated as you to go through that routine on a daily basis! I think you should maybe go more neutral? I know, thats what everyone is going, but if you've been doing the same routine since you were 12, maybe its something to try out?

I like it. It is a lot but its well applied that makes all the difference.

That's what I'd like to change. I don't want it to seem like I'm wearing a lot. I love doing makeup so it doesn't seem like a lot to me, so what do I need to take away from my routine? Or is there a more translucent product I can trade off too?

Try to treat color cosmetics as a creative outlet rather than a routine to fulfill. There's nothing wrong with having a go-to look, but I find switching it up from day to day really boosts my spirits, as cheesy as that may sound. As for base makeup, wear only what you need to feel good about your skin. From your photo it doesn't look like you need a full coverage foundation, so maybe try a lightweight foundation or tinted moisturizer with a luminous finish. One of my favorites is L'Oreal Lumi Foundation. At the end of the day, I don't think there's such a thing as "too much makeup" as it's so subjective. The important thing is to feel beautiful and confident.

Thank you both! I have this routine to where it only takes 20 minutes at the most now.

Hey Chandra, I am so jealous of your dimples! Some others were mentioning using a nude or white eyeliner, I loooove the Benefit Eye bright pencil (it's a pale pink) for the inner corner or the eyes. I can't go a day without curling my eyelashes too or I look asleep lol yours look so awesome though! And if you're looking for a lighter coverage foundation the Urban Decay Naked foundation is so nice, feels great on the skin too! Oh and I use the eye bright pencil on the Cupid's bow of my lips and blend it to make them look fuller.

I saw Ece K. Never told you who Miranda was. I don't know if I am thinking of the same one but I thought Miranda Kerr when I first saw your picture!

I think a really nice light colour on the eyes with a winged liner and a natural pink lip would be really pretty :)

If you feel your eyes are small, using a white eyeliner will open them out, but I think your makeup looks great as it is!
