I've never tried a beauty blender, but I use the ELF Powder Brush to stipple and buff in my foundation. It provides great, flawless coverage for such a cheap brush!

I've been using bamboo products and the elf foundation brush..the foundation seems to go on smoother.

I got a knockoff beautyblender and I don't like it. Maybe its different with the real thing but I was under the impression they all did just about the same thing. The foundation I use covers pretty well but when I use the sponge it doesn't cover at all. I feel like I would have to use 10 pumps of foundation to get any kind of coverage. Which I can't afford to do because my foundation costs $46 lol. I usually use and love my real techniques buffing brush. It blends amazingly and gives me great coverage at the same time with only two pumps of foundation.

I love the beauty blender, I never get lines like I do with a foundation brush and I find it easier to build my foundations with it. I really think it depends on your application technique though. I never use my fingers either.. I feel like I use way more foundation than I should when I do that, and my foundation is expensive so I just can't lol.

For my Bb cream I use my fingers. For my pressed powder I use a kabuki.

I apply foundation with my fingers first and go back over my problem areas to add an extra layer with my Ulta brand foundation brush, it gives me a flawless finish.

I like the beauty blender much better, zero streaks :) Brushes are okay but honestly the beauty blender is much easier.

I've never used the beauty blender but I despise foundation brushes. The best way that I've found to apply foundation is with a stippling brush or with the e.l.f. Powder brush, its only $3 and it is AMAZING!

I haven't used the beauty blender, it seems like it workes well. I hate foundation brushes so I use my hands.

My favorite way to apply foundation is a damp triangle sponge/ foundation sponge...it goes on clean..easy to spread nd smooth out..and gives an overall great even finish :)

I just got sigmas flat kabuki brush a couple weeks ago.. Best thing I've ever used!

Kabuki brushes or stippling brushes. I took forever to jump on the brush wagon, because my first experience was with a traditional flat foundation brush. I hated it. It just looked streaky and took forever, so I would generally use my fingers or a damp wedge sponge (both of which are good options, too). But then I got the Real Techniques stippling brush and the Crown Brush Kabuki and Precision set (which is a dupe for the Sigma Kabukis), and will never go back. These two types of brushes make my foundation and concealer look absolutely flawless for the first time ever!

I haven't ever used a Beauty Blender, because I just cannot justify spending $20 on a sponge. Legitimately, if I'm going to spend 20 bucks on something, I'm going to buy a backup of my UD 24/7 liner in Perversion.

That's the same Idea you had , I was like " pleeeease? A sponge for 20 dollars ,No way. not today! " Till finally I did , it leaves such a flawless finish , it won't disappoint!

Brush. Used to be a fingers girl...but switched over! I use a blender sponge when I'm contouring my face or putting on concealer. But I put my foundation on with my Mac brush!

I use both. The beauty blender to pat the foundation into my skin. Then I take my stippling brush to buff it in. After that I apply my concealer and use my beauty blender to blend it in.
