Head & Shoulders?

Just wondering if anyone could give some advice on the Head & Shoulders shampoo? I don't actually have dandruff but I love the smell and fresh feel it leaves in my hair! Would using the shampoo actually cause dandruff does anyone know? :)

I've heard that it only works (stopping dandruff) while your using it, if you stop it gets worse.. think it'd just depend on the individual though =]

Yeah my boyfriend sometimes gets dandruff and head and shoulders usually makes it worse he avoids it like the plague, some friends say it only prevents dandruff as long as you continue to use it, but its all down to the individual so if it works for you I would say go for it.

You should try and invest in higher quality hair care products. H&S is harsh and can strip hair color if you tint your hair.

I don't have dandruff but I use h&s dry skalpcare... I like it, it smells good and works on my scandinavian blonde hair.. :-)

I've bn using that product apple scent for many years witot it I get itchy.I do try other products bt sometimes I get itchy again.it wks for me and yes it does clear dandruff for me and my family.my scalp is sensitive bt nt face b body.

@shay w. My experience wit highlights color and bleach no it hasn't dne damage its the other chemicals of hair processing I've dne nt the shampoo.A good hair conditioner or serum does help wit dryness.I've tried other salon products my whole life and its the only product that wks.tea tree oil is good dry scalp also.

No lol you can use it if you don't have dandruff. I use green apple shamp and con love it.

My hairdresser says it strips colour and when I went chocolate and dyed it myself and then got bored, she sugg I use head and shoulders as it would strip
The colour. I had been using it for dandruff and then just stopped a couple if weeks ago and I don't seem to have dandruff anymore so perhaps it can perpetuate it

If you want to get rid of a hair color quickly head and shoulders is great. I use it when I'm fading my hair, and in my experience it does not cause dandruff.

You should be sure you have dandruff and not just dry scalp too. there I'd a great big difference
