I've never tried contouring my face. Now I want to and I don't know where to start. I've watched videos on how to do it, but I want to hear what products everyone uses. I have dry skin, so if anyone has recommendations for products that work well with that, that would be even better!

I believe the NARS blush orgasm or deep throat are so beautiful on any skin type.

Try makes "blunt" with a light hand. I also like BH cosmetics contour and highlight pallete.

My favourite way of contouring is actually using a darker shade of (liquid/cream) foundation where my "shadows" would naturally be if I were chiseled lol. Then all you do is blend it out with a foundation in your shade & it's very natural looking!

I like using matte bronzers/face powders with a cooler or greyish undertone. I like Smashbox Suntan Matte for light powder contouring, or Ben Nye's Shadow Wheel in SK-2 for intense cream contouring.

Use a matte powder 1-3 shades darker than your complexion. since your a beginner it'll probably be easier to use a angled blush brush. then just use the darker powder in the hollows of your cheeks. if your having trouble figuring out where the hollows of your cheeks are make a fish face. you can also bring the powder on your jaw bone, the sides of your nose, and the temples of your forehead. I hope I helped you in any way:)

Since you have dry skin you can do the same thing with a cream foundation

For the contour part, don't use anything with sparkle or shine. But by all means glitz it up with your blush and highlighter! I like: Guerlain Terracotta Light for contour (in winter. In summer I can do Too Faced Chocolate Soleil), Tarte blush in flush and Too Faced highlight Candlelight Glow.

I have horrid dry skin in the winter so I like to use products that add moisture and radiance to my dry skin. I use MACs pro sculpting cream for contouring and then MACs strobe cream for highlighting- it's a gorgeous, naturally defined finish.
