My natural hair colour is a mid ash brown. I've experimented with all shades of brown, but I can't seem to find a hair colour that will take me back to the ashy tone I had before. I currently have a gingery undertone, and I know that this is what the majority of hair dyes give. I can't just let my natural hair grow back through because I'm getting quite grey at the age of 18.. not good. Can anyone suggest a brand/shade of hair dye I can buy?

The problem is my grey roots come through quite fast, I have to top up my colour fairly often and I just can't afford going to the salon that much. it's such a pain to be so grey so young :(
