Thank you! You'd be suprised what you can do with paint most people want to throw out their old furniture but you can completely redo so many things and make them so pretty and unique!

Thanks for sharing that, its really pretty! I like it! I love the different drawers on top for more storage! Plus I'm in love with the pink color of the walls!! What I do is look for old furniture pieces on craigslist and sometimes you can even find good stuff in the free section, but most of the stuff is reasonable and made very well with solid wood. Then just completely redo the furniture by staining, painting, or even using other mediums like making the top a complete mirror or something like that. There's a lot of ideas on pinterest too. But this way it makes it really cheap to get a vanity. I found vanity lights (musik lights) and mirror online at ikea, and also on 1stoplighting.com they have vanity 4 light strips for $6, so the possibilities of what you can do is endless...

Alot of what you see is me getting creative. my favorite part is my painting holding my lipsticks and mascaras etc.
Amanda thanks for the link on the lightbulbs. I bought some insta bulbs from Walmart which are okay but you need to constantly change the batteries /:

I would absolutely love a vanity but I dont have enough space in my room, the only thing I currntly have in my room is a bed, so I have to cram everything in my closet, which doesnt have a lot of space either :/

which one are you searching the 1stoplighting.com? search 4 light bath strip and you can get ones with 6 or 8 bulb ones too. If you're searching at ikea, search the musik light strips they're 14.99 and really nice quality! But you can't order the musik lighting strips online, you can only get them in store. Let me know what you choose!!
Mattie, I would suggest a mirror and a shelf type thing that would take up more wallspace than anything and you could get a chair that could fold up and go underneath your bed if needed! I will post a picture of what I'm talking about, because every girl needs a vanity! Hope I helped :)

@ Emma, I love that! I'm guilty of doing that too! I always keep some of my pretty perfume bottles to put on display, but I also have a lot of everyday things that I use, it's an insane amount of things when I put it all into a basket together, my boyfriend always makes fun of me for how much stuff I have! haha
@Stacy, OMG! I love yours! It's adorable!! I'm going to follow your blog too, I have a beauty blog that I've been trying to get up and running and I'm just not sure how I should go about that? If anyone has any advice about that, I would love to hear it!

@ Lauren, thank you! I love the usage of space, how they used the cut out to put the vanity in there and then add cabniets and everything to make it more usefull!!
Everyone should put up more pictures of their vanities or ideas :)

Yay! That's exciting! I know when I moved I was trying to look for a place with a big enough closet to put my vanity in, I've seen some really cute ones that people placed in the closets, but I didn't get that lucky!

Yeah I think walk in closets are great cause you can have the mess in there instead of out in your room.
