I'm starting to get seriously into nail art, but whenever I try to re create some looks I always find myself out of the correct tools! Can anyone give me a list of must-have tools to achieve a professional finish on my nails? Thanks! :)

A variety of brushes helps; Walmart has a pack of various paint brushes for less than a dollar. Acetone is the best remover, but it can be drying if you get it on your hands. A sewing pin (the kind with the bead on the end) can be used as a dotting tool, and toothpicks are good for creating drag marks (like tye-dye and marbled). As for acrylics and stuff, someone else will have to chime in because I don't do those. ;)

The only things I can think of off the top of my head is a dotting tool or two, polishes that have a striper brush in them, (or you can make your own, cutepolish has a tutorial on YouTube,) a quick dry top coat, a base coat if you want, a file for shaping. I'd definitely look up cutepolish on YouTube though if you haven't already. She does a lot of cool things and most are pretty simple and she has a few videos on how to make things like stripers like I mentioned before as well as dotting tools.

Dotting tools I'm also into nail art and they was the first thing I bought I think they was like £5 from amazon but I still have them and they do a lot.

Sally beauty has a ton of nail art supplies. I just bought a dotter tool with a brush on the other end for about $5.. Sally has a bunch of different nail things.
