Hey everyone. I'm breaking out awfully. I have very red pimples all over. I know this won't be going away fully for at least a week.
What is the best way to COVER my reddest pimple? My foundation routine isn't doing it. What is your best method!?

Also I posted this here rather than skincare seeing as I know what's causing the breakout. I just need makeup to make it look much less red.

To offset redness use a concealor stick with a green undertone or base to it. Since green is opposite of red on the color wheel, it works like a charm. Revlon has some great ones for a good price. Also, organic honey face masks get rid of my redness but you'll have to do those for about a week to see resultS. Good luck! Hope I could help :)

Oh, AAAAND I know that wearing makeup may irritate my face. It's just for one event and not the whole week. Usually when I'm having these breakouts I leave the skin be to relax. Okay that's all.

Start off by using a primer, your foundation which should be full coverage and its ok to layer it as long as it doesn't look cakey and then us a concealer pencil because its a dryer texture and the color should be like yellow I think if I'm wrong I'm sorry but think its yellow but after you add the concealer pencil dab a liquid concealer to seal it if it still shows and apply your loose powder to set the concealer and foundation but to get rid of your ance quick ad to prevent them use 2% calysic acid on your face it can cause severe dryness so make sure you moisturize twice a day good luck

I read on Pinterest to try honey and cinnamon mixture, it's supposed to help clear pimples faster. I haven't tried it, but I plan too.

Green concealer will only make your skin green and since you add concealer after your foundation you can't cover it and powder won't cover the green you could put a dab of visine on the pimple to make the redness subside a little but use your skincolor concealer but a dry texture first. I hope it helps.

You put the green concealer on before foundation, then blemish concealer after foundation. Obviously you wouldn't put green concealer ontop of foundation. -____-

I always find that drier textured concealers tend to make active breakouts stand out more. They stick a little better, but also tend towards cakeyness. But whatever concealer you use, pat it directly onto the blemish and blend around the edges with your finger (be careful not to smear the concealer that's on the blemish), or a blending brush. I prefer using a precision kabuki, because it blends beautifully without making the concealer move from where I put it. Then, pat translucent powder directly on using a small brush, but be lighthanded with it. The last thing you want is for blemishes to stand out more or look powdery or cakey.

Mix your green concealer with foundation and apply after foundation. PS: Try dabbing hydrogen peroxide on the break outs, it makes them go away a lot faster :)

To get rid of those pimples and dry out the ones you have I can swear on kate sommervilles eradikate! I get pimples when it's that time of month and its usually a huge one or an under the skin one which hurts like heck and can be seen from like a mile away! anyways my Sephora managers and co-workers swore by this stuff to and I got it and sure enough...put it on at night and in the morning it's either gone or barely there but it won't be red! You have to follow the directions and DON't MIX it and dip your cotton swab once it's all settled..Good luck!

Put some toothpaste on the biggest pimples that you have in the evening and clean it in the morning.. They should been reduced by then and after it you can use some green concealer :)
