Emma, I don't think she was talking about her hair. More about her make-up/skin.
Sree: Have you tried a setting spray? Like Urban Decay De-Slick? What's your makeup routine?

I was asking about make up but that was helpful since my hair gets super frizzy thanks emma:)
@trish: haven't tried it yet...but could you tell me some online sites where I can buy it.
normal routine is foundation and/concealer, eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss.

Try switching to a less heavier foundation, tinted moisturizer are great with a little concealer, or just try putting concealer only in the areas you need it and leave the rest of your skin alone. carry around either blotting sheets, or a nice pressed powder so later in the day if you find you are oily, you can touch up. If you find your eyeliner smudging, try too faced's eye liner, that stuff does not budge once set. And if your eyes aren't sensitive, check out waterproof mascaras.

Skindinavia's oil control primer is just like urban decay's but at a fraction of the price. I love it:)

Oily skin you say? Before heading out wash your face with a small amount of Dawn before applying makeup. Helps dry out the skin. Apply makeup and use a good set-in spray. I use Kat Von D's set in spray. Helps me in such horrible weather. :)

As for waterproof items, I use two good ones. I use Lash Ink by Hard Candy. Its a four day mascara and cannot be removed once applied. Many people tried even with a good makeup remover, doesn't budge. And eyeliner I.use Urban Decay's 24/7 liner in Zero. To stop it from moving add a tiny bit of black eye shadow onto the liner. Stays put for hours on end.

If you dry out your skin your body's reaction could be to Over produce sebum. my source would be my esthetics teacher.

Isnt dawn dishwashing soap?? Isnt that a bit harsh for the skin??
You can order de-slick from urbandecay.com or sephora.com but if youre not in the states dont know if they ship to your country.
Always use products for oily skin. Perhaps use a toner before moisturizing? Mineral makeup is good for oily skin. And I agree blotting sheets or toilet seat covers! Sounds weird but I read the tip from tyra banks

I live in Florida so I know about hot humid weather. When temps and humidity climb I simply retire the traditional foundation and resort to using one of two of my bb creams. I don't set it with any powder of any kind. It just helps me skin cope with the humidity and keep the oil slick to a minimum. Powder just isn't your best friend with nasty weather like that. For cheeks you might want to cheek out liquid stains (Benefit has a beautiful shade)...it will give you a nice flush minus the melt down look. Eye products such as mascaras should be waterproof if you can tolerate it.
