Ita actually a silly question, but what are they? How do they look like and are they expensive? I need some fake nails that arent over long, cause my nails are too short for nail art. I bite them and can't get rid of my horrible habbit. :)

I bite my nails to and I often go to the nail places to get acrylic nails, they are good for a little while but sometimes they fall off easily, the only bad thing about acrylic is its kinda bad for your nails. (:

I don't recommend them. they tear up your nail beds and you can get infection underneath them. if you want nails I'd go with the gels their better on your fingernails.

The picture of the acrylic powder in the other post hardens the nail...you can even look it up online...google or bing it.

It depends on your age too you look insanely young and I wouldn't recommend you get them on. They're also about thirty dollars plus to tip the person who does them , you have to get them re done again and again and they hurt to take off. You don't get them on to paint them you get them on already painted with a design and that's it.

Yeah I do look young, tho I am young. Nearly 14 now.. Alot of people say I look very much younger than that. But yeah I wanted to try some fake nails that arent too expensive and not like too dangerous. Beacuse of the infections and that..

Since you are young I feel it would b best if you start getting manicures....its like 10$ at a salon. they also sell drops to put on your nails to stop you from biting... have your parents look into it at your local pharmacy.
