I have been told that anything pore minimizing is just a gimmick. Sure silicone based primers like Benefits Porefesional will aid in temporary solutions my filling in the pore so makeup sits on top instead of sinking in. BUT the size of your pores is from your genetics; or from too abrasive of cleansers, treatments, and manual extracting. Cold water would be the best solution just because cold temperature tighten and shrink everything... As long as its cold. I have tried a multitude of things and I seem to think that my large pores are just genes and the only thing you can do is prevent them from getting bigger, but shrinking them permanently is not possible.

I got a facial wash from my cousin that camr from his job. It was a green tea wash and closed pores. I'll ask him the name since I ran out but your best bet is to go on Clean & Clear's website and order the pore perfecting cream. It works so swell and its oil-free. Apply it twice to three times a.day. Also use ice cubes to close up pores several times a day. Good luck.

The benefit pore professional does work temporarily... it's a primer that is made for filling in the pores, it's a makeup product and does work wonders... until.you wash it off. unfortunately, you can't change. the size of your pores. When your pores are clogged, they look bigger, use a product with salicylic acid, a toner or serum/treatment preferably, your pores will be clean, and therefore will look smaller.

I agree with Danii - a deeply cleansed pore can relax and appear smaller, while a clogged pore is stretched & appears larger.
MAC made a pore minimizing product in their prep and prime line also...it works quite well but benefit's probably has more skin healthy ingredients.

Your pore size can not be changed. that determines your skin type you can reduce the appearance of but thats about it. and I also agree with Kat T.
