Hello! I love the mermaid beachy wave look and was wondering what works best for this look aside from a triple barrel? I'm looking at both wands and curlers :-)

Tapered curling wand! I use the Single Pass Whirl by T3. It's awesome and quick/easy to use.

You can use any ol' plain 1 inch barrel curling iron.
Just hold it upside down and wrap your hair around the outside (or the inside if your hair tends to crimp, but don't put the clamp down), leaving a little bit of space between the strand every time you wrap it. Drop the curled section into your hand, clip it to your head so it can cool in that shape, and when you're done finger-comb the waves and add a texturizer.

Why don't you post a picture of what you want exactly. All of the above posts are good, but very different interpretations of beachy waves.

Try braiding it or twist and tie sections with an added curl cream.. Wait 30 min maybe add blow dryer heat? I know it's not a tool but a technique for your look you're achieving!:)
