I want to start penciling my eyebrows with normal eyeshadow but don't know what colour to get or how to! My eyebrows would be dark/normal brown:)

Then you would need a darkish brown eyeshadow to match your hair color and to apply it you would need a small angled brush and put it on your brow starting at the beginning being the thickand then gradually getting smaller til its how you like it and practice helps it may take a few tries to get a hang of it good luck :)

Try a powder that is one shade lighter than your hair color or if you're blonde, one shade darker. When I was only starting to do my brows I used a pencil first so I can have more control. Use a dark brown for that! :)
