It's all preference I think! Brunettes tend to be more sultry and sexy, while blondes are fun and playful (just my opinion) so it's whatever he's more drawn to :)

Used to be natural ginger, bright freaking orange. got teased a lot and fancied a change so dyed it brown a few times. Didnt want my hair to define me and standing out isnt always a good thing. No idea what blokes prefer, don't think they are fussed tbh!

I'm a natural blonde and I always get comments on how naturally bright it is. Girls are always saying they can't find my color in a box and guys say they love my natural. But honestly, as long as you LOVE who you are... It doesn't matter what other people think. But yes, it is a preference.

People have many personal preferences especially with the ability to change hair color now a days... But human race as a whole is attracted towards brown hair when choosing a mate, this is why brown hair (and eyes) are dominating traits.

My boyfriend prefers me with brown hair. One of my exes said he's prefers dark hair too, but aside from me, all of his girlfriends have been blonde. Lol.
