You could use lemon juice and then sit in the sun but I think that damages just as much as bleach not sure

How long would it take to actually see a diffrence in my hair?

Lemon is an acid so is worse than bleach I had natural black hair until I decided to get highlights they were low I liked them and try bleach use 20 volume don't go 40 it damages your hair and if you dont like how it comes out let it grow (:
