I've been researching setting powders and I've narrowed it down to two: Nars and Laura Mercier. I've ordered both in translucent from Sephora but please let me know on which one you think is best. Thanks in advance.

Laura Mercier turned me into an oil slick within 4 hours. And it changed the color of my foundation. Tread carefully with that one. I loved the finished look it gave me though. I instead use one from Too Faced that I adore. Hopefully you'll have better success than I did it with. :)

Laura mercier setting powder. My makeup can last all day with it! But it really depends on what your skin type is...

Cassandra the reviews on MUFE setting powder have been mixed I use their hd liquid foundation and I love it. I also ordered there matte duo and I'm excited to use that. I've heard that a lot of people where disappointed with the new micro pro finish and I can see why, its wayyy to orange based and that's what I expect from Mac foundation not MUFE, they had one of the best foundations out there.

Lindsey C. the reviews on Nars compact setting powder were better than the loose and I think its probably because the compact gives you way more portion control than the loose. The sales lady in Sephora told me that the Laura M was the best one they carried and that's why I got it but I ordered the compact from their website and you know what I might keep both.

I actually like Too Faced-it can be used as a primer or finishing powder.
