Dies anyone know of good quality clip ins that last or at least look good for 6 months? I've had Luxy Hair for about 4 months and they started to shed like crazy when I wash and straightened them and now they are starting to tangle like crazy!! Has anyone tried Foxy Locks??

Yes I got them in March of 2012. They were pretty good on shedding but they seem to get very tangled when in my hair. Other than that the hair is really soft and shiny!

The average lifespan of extensions is 6 months, so if you can keep yours for longer you're doing a good job! It is recommended that you wash your extensions as little as possible as each time you are washing the silicone sealant that the extension manufacturers put on away. I recommend the brands foxy locks or head kandy. Some people even have 2 sets for straightening and curling to prevent having to wash them as frequently, but that is a more expensive option! Hope this helps!

Honestly, I love my Euronext Extensions from Sally's. My last pair lasted about a year, I only stopped using them because I changed my hair from red to silver so I bought a new set. I dyed, bleached, stripped color, heat curled, heat straightened, washed (about 2x a week) and blow dried them frequently! They still look pretty good to this day. My current extensions are the same brand but a different color and I have had them for about 7 months and they are in AMAZING condition since I don't dye them (just use a toner) nor have I bleached them or removed any color with a stripper, so they look amazing.

I think the brand I use is I&k gold (whatever the standard straight clip ins from www.hairtrade.com are) and they seriously last me years!! I had my last set since summer 2010 and only bought new ones because they were black and I dyed my hair back to blonde.
