I was doing my sister's girlfriend's makeup one time, and when I curled her lashes before applying mascara it made a pretty big difference. you could try that, and getting a flesh toned eyeliner and put that on your waterline. :)

You could also try lining your upper and lower water line with a cream colored eyeliner.

Try lining your lower line with white pencil and you can take some white to corner of your eye. :) I do that every day and it opens your eyes :)

Liquid eyeliner along the lash line, flicking out slightly up the corners. Or if you want a more dramatic look, the classic smokey eye look with black shadow worked right into the outer corners.
