Layers help thin out your hair. I have thick hair, and since I got lauers it's always been thinner. I think it would be your opinon if it looks good, but you could also talk to your hairdresser. She might be able to give you some advice too :)

Thanks. I wear my hair up ALL the time, that is why I want it shorter and with layers. Putting my hair up is a habbit.

Sorry, but layers only look good if you're willing to spend the time on them. If you want to get layers that encourage and enhance your wavy texture, that's a whole different story from getting layers that you can use to create big bouncy curls or a smooth blowout.
The WRONG layers, styled the wrong way, will turn you into a frizzball. I've been down that road, and it's not fun trying to grow it out, so think really long and hard about how much time you're willing to spend on it to make it look good.

If you have thick hair get layers. Otherwise your hair gets a triangle shape.

Layering your hair will definitely compliment your face, even if you just do a side bang! <3

Don't get layers if you wear your hair up a lot because all if the layers stick out.

Layers are a good way to add shape to your hair. Especially if you have long full hair. I would suggest looking through some hair style mags to find a look you like and bring the pic (s) of the one (s) you like with you to the stylist. A good stylist will know how to follow the look and make it work for your hair and face shape so make sure you go to someone you trust and not simply a $10 cut place that could have inexperienced stylists. I'm not saying you have to pay a lot but the cheaper the cut is the more likely it will be poor quality. Good luck to you. :)

I have really think curly hair and I ALWAYS get layers since they help my hair look nicer and make it a little thinner!
