I got mine done last august, takes a lot of care, has to be cleaned 2-3 times a day, it only hurts for about 2 seconds when its being pierced but I couldn't bend over for two days after! I recommend it though!

It doesn't hurt very much, but you have to be careful with it catching on things at first. also make sure you clean it well and only touch with clean hands. I wouldn't recommend getting it before summer because you aren't supposed to swim with it for the first couple months. despite the hassle they look great though!

It was bearable but obviously a needle going through your skin is going to hurt it does need a lot of cleaning the first few months I used a shot glass with peroxide and let my belly button soak for 5 to 10 mins a few times a week and some neosporin would be good for it to just remember not to change belly button rings to soon like 3 months after you can if it gets infected don't freak out its normal just take care of it and it'll be worth it in the end I love mine.
