Hair color and cut advice?

So my hair has been this color for awhile. I before this it was purple and black and reddish and black... I desperately want to do something different with my hair... I've always had the same cut pretty much so any advice is appreciated!!

Maybe you should go with a thiner hair style! Short swept bangs, & brown with blonde highlights.
