Anything that isn't black would work better with the red. Browns, blues, bright colors in nearly any shade, etc.

I disagree with Heather. I think black is absolutely the best color to wear it with but since your wearing a beige sweater it doesn't suit. Red is more dress-ish

If the tank top wasn't pink, the red bag would be perfect. If you feel like the red bag would stand out too much against your outfit, paint your nails red and wear red lipstick. The additional pops of color will bring your entire outfit together in a polished way.

Browns, beiges, etc. are all neutral colors. They'll go with anything, which is why the red bag is safe.
