I usually get my hair trimmed every 3 months, which maintains my length. I really wanted to skip a trim so its a tad longer, but my ends are brittle! How can I keep it looking healthy and feeling soft until my next trim?

I had this for awhile, what I did was I bought. Dove cream for your hair. I washed my hair and the while its wet. I gradded some and stubbed some on my ends. it has vitamin E which make your hair healthier. you will feel your tips softer.

Get refined coconut oil, and get it to a creamy texture. Apply it to your slightly damp hair, focusing on your ends and put your hair up in a shower cap or plastic bag. Wait an hour, and then wash your hair normally. I like to do this once a week :-)

Cheyennes suggestion is pure brilliance. :) Any natural oils like coconut and olive can do wonders for your dry locks. Applying the oil to damp hair, then covering with a cap or plastic bag, and apply heat to open your hair cuticle so the nutrients really penetrate the hair shaft. after shampoo, condition and rinse with cool water. the cool water will help seal your cuticle.

I know this has nothing to do with this on keeping your ends soft but try using Onion Shampoo to grow your gorgeous tresses. :3.

What I always do to keep my ends fresh is once a week coat them in coconut oil and a leave in conditioner, put on a shower cap, leave it in for a couple of hours then rinse it out! Organix has a perfect coconut oil for this! You can get it at any Walgreens :)

Also washing your hair properly helps keep it hydrating. Don't apply shampoo directly to your ends. I have also tried applying jojoba oil to my ends and that helped a bit.
