So I'm going to get my hair done at a salon to go a dirty blonde has anyone gotten their hair done blonde at a salon? opinions and advice please.

I bleached mine myself, got all my stuff at sallys along with the best bleach for $50 compared to hundreds at a salon especially if your a dark brunette, like I was.

I suggest you dnt bleach your hair urself witot experience.I did it and boy my hair was ugly ass bright orange like the lines and the street,crosswalks.

Personally going all over blonde takes a lot of maintenance to keep away roots I have brown hair naturally but have had it highlighted a full head for as long as I can remember this keeps it looking more natural and I leave it aslong as 6 month to get its redyed. This is probably best if its a big change as it makes it's less drastic = less of a shock! This is my highlighted dirty blonde brown hair. Hope this help.

I went blonde once and my hairdresser did this thing where she used mini highlights all around my head (like, 8-10 strands of hair each foil), then she put in the full color after, and I loved it! And when my roots grew out it didn't even look that bad!

I was blonde for 3 years but not ever fully blonde.. I started with light highlights on my hair and then the more I went to touch up my highlights my hair dresser added more and more until I looked blonde ;) I liked the stages because it gave me a different look each time and I only went in when I needed to get my roots touched up
