I like going a little darker with a hint of purple... I love stains when it comes to reds too, hope that helps.

Choose a red with similar undertones to your skin. It will look better and compliment your skin tone as opposed to clash. I also recommend lining your lips before applying a red lipstick. It will give you that clean and chiseled look.

I prime my lips,use a red lipliner thn apply Mac red lipstick.that stuff is so dry!use a gloss too.

Your light skinned so you can go both ways...with a dark red or bright red. I personally think a bright red would look good on you!
Usually when you use red lipstick you don't want a whole lot going on in your eyes (A CAT EYE looks awesome) because you want the attention on your lips...hope I helped lots of LOVE!
