I really want to bleach the bottom half of my hair blonde. I just don't really know how to do it. My hair is kinda dry too, since I have curly hair and straighten it most of the time :/

I don't think you should do it because it'll just ruin your hair even more.

Yea, I guess I'll wait a while for it to be healthy then go ahead and bleach it I guess.

Or just go to a salon to lighten your hair. and get treatments done.

Yeah, I would definitely suggest you not do it! I just got mine done, professionally I might add, and my hair has been breaking off like crazy. I had really shiny, pretty hair before, I just wanted a change. now it's so dry and damaged. not worth it at all!

Oh, wow. Yea because I've heard some what that bleaching your hair was bad, but it looks pretty, so that's why I wanted to do it. Thanks!

Like everyone else said, bleaching your hair is so damaging! All color is stripped off the hair strands and all thats left is lifeless and fried! Yes you can achieve the color you want, but there is nothing attractive about fried hair.

Well,if you wanna bleach it,it's better because it pops out your color :)

Hallie H: Oh, damn. I didn't know it stripped off hair strands. I'm really not trying to fuck up my hair than it already is. I think I'll just stick to my own hair color and stop straightening it and use good shampoos :)

I do hair for a living and if you want blonde and not have to much damage I suggest going slow and using a low.developer. also when you go to bed at night put regular conditioner on your hair dry and put a shower cap on and go to sleep :) in the morning wash out. Do that a few times a week til your hair is healthy.

Kayla J: I was thinking about using a low developer, but just bleaching my hair seemed like not so good of an idea. But now that you say that, it's making me want to now. uhhhh it's difficult to choose.

Go to a store that sells nothing but beauty supplies, ask the store worker for developer and a bleaching packet. or don't be shy go to a salon and ask questions. its always nice to get professional help without paying high dollar.

If you decide to bleach your ends, cut them off first. The dry ends will split if you try bleaching them. Look at mine haha.
