It usually is red for everyone after waxing. Allow about 4 hours for the redness to disappear. And also apply a soothing cream.

I think you should take a shower with cool water and then in my case, I use after shaving moisturizer from veet.

Also apply a cold damp cloth it takes the heat/sting/redness out of the skin and also takes off any excess oil and wax left on the skin
