Massage your scalp, don't wash it everyday, no heating tools and eat right.

A lot of myths about growing your hair is taking over the internet. I believe from personal experiance that the only way to grow hair is the one thing we dont want to hear. and thats eating healthy and exercising. along with taking vitamins to help. you are what you eat and everything starts from within. but you always want to take REALLY good care of your hair. deep conditioning masqes twice a week. I use some DIY hair treatments myself. Although I recently chopped my hair all off for a more older look. I still do them to make sure my hair has the extra care it needs.
Mix coconut oil and olive oil together and heat it up for 15 seconds in the microwave or stove top and put it in your hair dry. overnight. wash your hair when you wake! Also mix ONE egg, avacado, &&lemon make sure you use warm water to rinse it out you dont want to cook the egg! lol. These will add strength, moisture, and shine into your hair leaving it healthy for newgrowth. (:
