I want to get rid of the hair on my arms, but I don't want to shave (because I heard hair comes back darker and thicker) and I don't want to go through the pain of waxing... Any alternatives??

You can use a chemical depilatory like nair or neat. There are also finely abrasive pads that rub the hair off without irritating the skin. You can also bleach it if the hair shaft isn't too thick.
