I might be the only one, but my eyelids become very oily throughout the day. Even when I don't have an ounce of makeup on, my eyelids are oily. this makes it really hard for me to wear eye makeup, because it doesn't stay on! I've tried the urban decay primer, and it's really good but still doesn't do the trick! Any advice would be GREAT!

Try the eye canvas from laura mercier. I have oily lids and it keeps them virtually oil free!! The eye canvas is in a pot so its not as liquidy therefore dryer on your lids.

if u wear eyeshadow apply a bit of eyelash glue to your eyelids and it stays on longer..(sounds odd but works for me)

Try paint pots or shade sticks in Mac.

Apply them on the lid and press powder eyeshadow over this.

I always choose a neutral shade like painterly in the pots or beige-ing in the shade sticks as you can wear any colour over this. Never apply cream or liquid make up around the eye. The oils and emollients in these will increase your chances of creasing.

Use a damp brush to apply your eyeshadow and then use your fingers or a dry brush to apply more dry over the top if needs be. I mostly use my fingers cos I find the colour comes out more like that.

Use blotting papers to absorb oil thru out the day, and touch up your eye makeup whenever possible.
