Ill bet you were on your debate team in high school..

Actually, I was not on the debate team. I just tend not to open my mouth when I'm not pretty damn sure I'm right. It's a rare quality.

You were making a joke, and was being sardonic, lol. I think we're square.

Thank you, Laura. A lot of the time it's not so much about arguing with a specific person...I got my information the hard way and I like to share it. You never know who else is reading!

It's like any other product in the market, plus different types of hair react differently with any hair product, what's good for me might not bs good for u , sometimes trying is the key but when u don't have extra money to spend on this stuff try to see alternatives in a drug store just read the labels and look it up and see what's good , just like food lol

I think this thread made me a fan of Stephanie D. We all should learn to read the ingredient list and not believe in hype. One tip I'd like to add is when you are reading the ingredient list, it comes up in the order of what the product has the most, e.g. the first ingredient usually is water/aqua. Whatever appears near the end, (as Stephanie mentioned essential oil in the case of Wen appearing near the end with preservatives) the product contains the least of it.

I've done the co washing of a cheaper conditioner. Didn't work for me, hair felt dirty and weighted. Wen was nice, it cut down on my shower time and made it feel nice but more than I can spend atm.

Nicolette: You might have had a problem with the silicone. Try CO-washing with a silicone free conditioner or amodimethicone only (which is somewhat lighter than dimethicone).
And thank you, Amiee and Coco! ^___^

I've tried it and hated it... One week, following ALL the directions and i hated it. My hair felt gross.

I'll try amodimethicone though it'd be more useful if I knew some brands to try.

Amazing been using the pomegranate scent for 3 years now, my hair hasn't looked better, and I have fine curly long hair, I wash my hair once to clean, then a second time and leave it in for the rest of my shower, I use joico leave in reconstructing conditioner afterwards

Hmmm, I'm using Loreal Advanced Hair Care Power Moisture right now as my CO conditioner. As for other brands, you'd just have to check the label. I can't tell you off the top of my head as I was using the Evercreme cleansing conditioner for quite a while before that. Evercreme is nice but I gave up on the packaging. *le sigh*

wen is scary stuff. i was given a set as a gift from my employer for christmas and i won't touch it. i read so many awful reviews about people's hair falling out and other problems. plus, i don't want to get stuck in a cycle of having to use it once i started, because i sure am not buying it every few weeks.
