Everytime I put concealer on after any foundation it looks awful! It is all cakey & looks like I have a ton of concealer on. It is like it does not want. To blend. I have used my hands & a brush but still the awful look. What am I doing wrong??

Try to put concealer first, if you're using a liquid concealer blend it with a brush or a beauty blender ;)

try putting a silicone based primer ontop of the spots you want to conceal then follow with the concealer. It could also be the concealer your using, some formulas look different on other peoples skin.

Are you using just one concealer or have you been trying other concealers as well?

Use benefit its great coverage and lasts forever without drying out, if I need a quick cheap fix though I will put some foundation in an empty powder pallet let it thicken for about two days from the air and then you don't have to worry about lines showing and its a perfect match

Benefit i believe is a thick concealer, you only need a little bit, also with thick concealers you need to take a little more time and keep blending. Also don't put the concealer over powder! but you can with liquid.

Remember that under eye concealer has to be very fluid and liquidy, don't put foundation where you put concealer, that way it won't look cakey... Remember to build up the coverage rather than start with too much product.

Your undereye area might not be moisturized!

Sounds like either the concealer is too thick, or your skin is dry. When applying concealer, always tap the product on with your fingertip. Never rub it on.

Its because the hard candy concealer is about as thick of a concealer that comes from the drugstore! I would suggest going with something that is more fluid! I love the Fit Me concealer by Maybelline. Its got pretty good coverage, but blends beautifully so I don't feel cakey!

Mix it in with your foundation!
