I always do my makeup gyaru style because I have a complex about my monolids and small eyes. My friends say I wear too much makeup and that I look weird. :\ I wear bb cream (the Korean hot pink one.), eyeliner, contact lenses and false top and bottom lashes. I almost never use eyeshadow. Even when I do, it's very light and almost unseen.
What do you guys think? I really don't want to change my makeup style since its hard for me to find tutorials for my eyes, but I have a feeling that my friends don't really want to hang out with me anymore since my makeup is "heavy".
I don't wear makeup to school though. I'm not allowed. I only wear makeup when I go shopping or on a special occasion. (:

Oh. I don't wear lipstick or lipgloss either. I only use lip balm when my lips are dry :)

It doesn't look creepy to me at all. It looks cute. I don't know if your friends wear makeup, but if they don't, even the tiniest bit of lipstick and mascara would be considered "too much" makeup, so pay no attention to them. ;)

I think it looks perfectly normal. I googled it to get more of an idea and all of those women look stunning. It definitely doesn't look strange. Its really pretty.

@rikki : thanks! Most of my friends wear makeup. But they only wear mascara, lipstick and eyeliner. Sometimes false lashes but rarely. Thankyou for your opinion!

@tilly: thanks for your comment! I truly agree with you. They really are pretty.

Ah, yeah, okay. The makeup-wearing people would have that as their limit, definitely. As long as you're not piling up three tubes of bb cream a day (............ I can imagine that would be very expensive, hahahah), you'll be fine. ;) Again. I like to repeat myself, yes, hahaha.

Can't say...in that pic the girl looks cute..but she does wear a lot of make up and it's definitely photoshopped. It would be easier if you post a pic of you wearing makeup

If you manage to make your skin that flawless , good for you. It's cute but not exactly realistic.

@ Emma: I have really bad skin haha but I don't like foundation. So my skin is never near as flawless as the girl in the picture.

Maybe you just wear too big of false lashes for your friends to think it looks okay? If youre happy with what youre doing keep doin it though(:

Are you kidding? That's beautiful!! How can that be too much? :/ Too much makeup is when your face looks like an orange sponge cake. This is one of my favorite makeup styles! It's elegant yet can be made edgy. It's just awesome!!

The eyelashes though are what might be conceived as making it look a bit "creepy"

Now that i look, it may be the circle lenses thats making your look a little 'creepy' (not saying it is at all though!) maybe just try regular colored lenses not circle lenses.

Thank for the comment everyone! Yeah maybe it's the false lashes. I stopped putting false bottom lashes on nowadays because I think it's too much. And thanks Emily! I really love this style too :D HAHA orange sponge cake.

Yeah the diameter of the circle lenses are pretty big. It makes me look like an alien lol ill consider buying lenses with a smaller diameter from now on

I love the fashion that comes from Japan (http://tokyofashion.com/) its always fun and creative. The bottom lashes are a bit much but your eyes are ADORABLE even with your lenses :)
