What is hair chalk? Is it a product or actual chalk you put in ur hair... How?

It's oil pastel chalk, I believe! You basically wet your hair and the. rub the chalk against it and them let it dry and use a heat tool to keep it intact! I've done it one or twice but to be honest, I always found it a hassle and super messy!

don't use oil pastels, use chalk pastels. There is a difference!

Hair chalk isnt oil. Its a huge hunk of chalk specifically made for the hair. We carry Kevin Murphy in our salon and they make that. You apply it to DRY hair after you style it before you spray it. Its an interesting alternative to add a wow bright color for a day or 2.
