Try using the OPI nail envy strengthener. It's seriously the best thing out. It's around $18 tho.. I get mine at ulta.

thanks girlies. ... but my nail just chipped off completely .. :'( i put a clear coat over it.. so maybe it could prevent it from chipping anymore throughout the night. But it was a No go. i will definitely get a nail hardener though. :)

i don't like opi nail envy. i find sally hansen products work better. always keep them polished because then they're "thicker" and you use a strengthener as a base and a strengthening top coat and you're much less likely to see your nails break.

When my nails are long I carry a little bottle of superglue in my purse. If one starts to break I put a drop of glue on and let it dry, that keeps it from breaking until I get home. Then, depending on how big the break is, I will either let it be or trim them all.
